Delete Your Account

Permanently remove your Showvie account and associated data.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open Showvie.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

If you can't access the app

If you've lost access to your device or can't sign in, email support@showvieapp.com from the address on your account. We'll verify and process the deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar)
• Ratings, reviews, and watchlist entries
• Posts, comments, and likes
• Follows and follower relationships
• Notification preferences and push tokens
• Authentication records

What we may retain

We may retain limited records when required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms — for example, abuse reports tied to your account or anonymized aggregate metrics that no longer identify you. These records are kept only as long as necessary.

This cannot be undone

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you'd prefer to take a break, you can simply sign out — your account will remain intact until you decide.
